I'm glad to see this brother featured. He is really a unique voice with the ability to write so that the power of the words follow the reader even when the paper is put down. He has a wonderful gift for reminding "brown skinned ladies" (aiiight mos!) that the sun languishes in our curves and has since antiquity. I dig his work for that. Wonderful interview! I REALLY dug "Poem from running into you after not seeing you for a while". Thank you for sharing and blessing!

Enlightening Indeed! It's always nice to get a behind the scenes look...a backstage pass if you will...into the mindset of not only one of our most talented but also one of our most dedicated. Thanks for giving us an inner glimpse Derrick.
