Desire

So, it’s a common occurrence that something good may not get the press/shine/attention it deserves.  It happens all the time.  A lot of the time it may be really, really good.  I wonder what happens when it’s the best of all that’s out? I was just having a conversation with some folks I know (yes I said folks, you thought cause I like Hip-Hop I was gonna say Fam or Peeps or something?) and we were talking about albums when I had revelation.  Now if you read on the reg you know that I think Desire is good frickin’ album , but today I put forth the theory it may be the best Hip-Hop to come out this year.  Maybe you agree, maybe you don’t…nah forget that, if you can name a better album than Desire you do so or fall to your knees and forsake all others before it (say it’s good in the comments section).  When I say the best so far, I mean people have said it’s better than Kweli, Common and so forth.  So if you got a better one bring it on.  I double dog dare you.
